Peer Support Group

The Mariposa Family Resources offers peer support groups for Grief, LGTBQ+, and Natural Disasters.

We understand the importance of accessibility and flexibility. Our support groups offer different meeting formats to accommodate various needs and preferences. These may include in-person meetings, online video conferences, or a combination of both. Our aim is to ensure that individuals can participate in a way that works best for them.

How to Get Involved:

  1. Contact Us: If you or someone you know could benefit from our peer support groups and would like to join our support group, please reach out to us via phone or email. Our caring team is available to answer any questions, provide additional information, and guide you through the registration process.
  2. Attend an Orientation Session: Before joining the support group sessions, we recommend attending an orientation session. These sessions provide an overview of the group’s structure, guidelines, and expectations. It’s an opportunity to connect with facilitators and fellow participants, ensuring a smooth transition into the support group.
  3. Join the Support Group: Once you’ve completed the orientation, you’re welcome to join our group sessions. Our facilitators will support and guide you throughout the group meetings, helping you find comfort, resilience, and a sense of community with others who understand your journey.
